1 sheet of puff pastry
1 egg
750 g of Golden apples
60 g of sugar
60 g of breadcrumbs
50 g of raisins
50 g of butter
25 g of toasted pine nuts
1 Colfiorito cinnamon stick
1 lemon peel
powdered sugar to taste
Peel the apples, slice them, and place them in a bowl with the sugar, soaked raisins, toasted pine nuts, and lemon peel.
Melt half of the butter with a Colfiorito cinnamon stick, let it infuse, then pour the flavored butter over the apples.
Toast the breadcrumbs with the remaining butter and spread them in the center of the pastry so the strudel stays crisp.
Add the filling, roll up the pastry, seal the edges well, and brush with the egg.
Bake at 180°C (356°F) for about 35–40 minutes, until golden brown.
Once cooled, dust with powdered sugar and serve.
Enjoy!
