The 100% Italian spelled and legume soup should always be kept tightly closed in a cool and dry place, away from sources of light and heat.
Legumes and cereals combined in a perfect mix, attentive to balance as much as to taste. It can be a single dish, for lunch or dinner, accompanied by a side dish of seasonal vegetables.
This product does not need any soaking: rinse it well and do a visual check. Meanwhile, pour cold water (or alternatively vegetable broth) into a saucepan and bring it to a boil. As soon as the water boils, pour the product and lower the heat; if necessary, add hot water or other broth thought the cooking. Add herbs, spices or vegetables to make it tastier. Cook over medium heat for about 40 minutes, or longer depending on the desired consistency. Once ready, serve with a spoonful of extra virgin olive oil and some delicious croutons.
