Place cous cous in a bowl and cover with boiling water equal to its volume (100ml per 100g of product). Cover with a cloth and let stand 5 minutes. Then, mash with a fork, add a drizzle of oil or a knob of butter and adjust the salt. Ideal either hot or left to cool to accompany stewed meat, cooked vegetables and mixed fish.
