Lightweight and versatile, cous cous is derived from durum wheat semolina and is loved for its texture and lightness, as well as its ability to absorb the flavors of the ingredients with which it is combined. Common in all the mediterranean basin, in Italy it has a strong tradition rooted in the southern regions.
Ideal as a base to our beloved legumes, with meat or fish, it is perfect for always creating different dishes in just a few minutes!

Keep it tightly closed in a cool and dry place, away from sources of light and heat.
Cous cous is a source of fiber and protein. Light and very quick to prepare, you can consume it either in summer as a fresh salad or warming it up as a winter main course!
Place the cous cous in a bowl and cover with boiling water equal to its volume, cover and let stand for 5 minutes. Afterwards, add a little extra virgin olive oil or a knob of butter, adjust the salt, stir and shell with a fork.
